This is the home page of the e-Work Awards (formerly know as the European Telework Awards). These awards are given annually to organisations that represent examples of best practice in the introduction, development and promotion of new working practices developing within the Information Society.

Any organisation carrying out their activities within the European Union, EFTA, and the new accession states may participate.

Organisations may include businesses, administrations, non-profit organisations, educational establishments and collaborative projects drawing their membership from one or more of these categories.

There are 6 categories of Award and a detailed description of each category and the evaluation criteria may be found by clicking here.

.The candidates are initially evaluated by experts in their field, and a shortlist is drawn up and will be announced on this site on 17th October.
The shorlisted candidates (3 from each category) are then evaluated in three ways:

  • by public voting on the Internet,
  • by the expert panel,
  • by the participating audience at the award ceremony.
