Welcome to e-Work Week 2000.

e-Work Week (eW²) is unique in its approach to informing citizens and organisations of the benefits and issues of introducing new working practices. It instiigates and coordinates events accross Europe designed to improve the understanding of work in the Information Society. It is supported by the European Commission, Industry, Administrations, and many other organisations.

The events happen in many forms across the broad landscape of Europe, not only as major conferences but also as local activies informing individuals and organistions, large and small, of opportunities and possibilities in new work paradigms. In the past these events have taken the form of conferences, workshops, open days, radio phone ins, webcasts and on-line fora.

This year for the first time there is a web TV channel running 24hrs a day 7 days a week from late September through to the end of November. The channel shows videos about implementations of new ways of working, interviews with individuals, presentations of useful technology and messages of support.
