Better e-Europe Practices
Click to link to beep website

The Best eEurope Practices (BEEP) Project collects, analyses and refines good practices in a variety of socio-economic areas, by collecting case studies and coding them according to a wide variety of indicators. This has resulted in an extensive Beep Knowledge System relating to employment and skills, the digital SME, social inclusion and regional cohesion. The Beep project widely disseminates these results both via electronic and traditional methods.
The knowledge base is open to the public, and has extensive search mechanisms.

Transport 2000

The examples of good practice given here show how companies, local authorities and other organisations are addressing the need to reduce car use. They provide evidence that innovative policies can and do work. Schools committed to increasing the share of pupils walking and cycling; companies persuading employees to give up their cars for travel to work; tourist 'honeypot' areas inviting visitors to use public transport: these case studies will tell you what has been done and will give an indication of what can be achieved elsewhere. New stories are continually added to this list.
