Several pilots of audio-visual networks involved in the project will be on-line. The pilots are: Jabba corp. - plans and produces audiovisual products for marketing and communication needs. The centre for Business and Public Services in Sodankylä municipality - helps people to test their business ideas and to start businesses. Local people can also get some public services there. SiNet - A network of audiovisual services in the municipality of Rovaniemi - develops modern media enterprises to the rural areas. The Marketing Network - three tourism companies have been combined to establish a network of marketing. A special end of the day publication seminar of a newly published book, Employee or Entrepreneur, will be introduced on the subject of the legal position of the teleworker in Finland. The aim is to increase awareness of telework, teletrade and telecooperation benefits among local Authorities, Activists and in enterprise world and to gain profitable insights about new ways of working and getting employed either through self-employment or as an employer. A focus is in team networking possibilities to be used in various projects and plans to promote telework in general, and in the utilisation of information technology for the improvement of rural services together with new choices and opportunities in employment. Public access through media includes local papers, radio, a nationwide commercial paper and online connection to other events. Speakers' views, open discussion forum, practical demonstrations of the skills of teleworkers and technologies they use together with exhibits and demos from local network vendors that have marketing interes in telework give flavour to The Market Event and to themes of interest for the future development.
