Christian Van Asbroeck runs Proactive Consulting, a limited
company supplying consultancy and services to enterprises and institutions active in the
application of ICT to the development of business and society. The
company uses telecooperation, teletrade and telework to develop and carry out its
business.
Proactive is one of the three Founder-Associates of the Belgian Teleworking Association
(BTA), and Christian is the Treasurer of the association and the editor of the quarterly
BTA Newsletter. BTA is a partner of the European Telework Development (ETD) initiative,
represented by Christian who is in charge of the ACTS Telework Chain Secretariat and of
the Belgian National Coordination.
In Belgium, Christian’s recognition as a telework expert has been growing steadily
since 1994. |
He is invited regularly to give conferences, media interviews, lectures, advice,
and to participate in workshops on teleworking related issues. He is also collaborating to
Euro-Télétravail,an education project under the umbrella of the ADAPT initiative.
