The Dutch Telework Week begins 2nd of November with a two day seminar
"New ways of work and the critical impact of ICT".
Keynote speaker of he first day is Gil Gordon. Chairman of the day will
be Kitty de Bruin, ETD coordinator
The case of Interpolis, the Dutch telework prize winner last year will
be presented . Other presentations will include case studies of Shell,
Cap Gemini and IBM.
Some presentations will be in English and others in Dutch.

4th November the seminar telework and human resources (Dutch language)
will take place in Utrecht
What each human resource manager should know to make telework a success!
Topics covered are strategic impact, applicable functions, project plan,
internal; communication, law aspects, and social-psychological aspects.

In the evening the Dutch Telework Award giving will take place in the
Media Plaza, Utrecht.
The prize is being awarded for the 5th time and all prizewinners are
invited and some will explain how the project is evaluated.

The 5th of November nederlands studie centrum will organize the event
The effective work environment in Amsterdam.
Dutch PTT and Interpolis will among others present the new work environment.

The 6th of November the Dutch Telework Forum will organize a luncheon
meeting between politicians to check their view of telework and possible
solutions to solve traffic problems.
Location will be Media Plaza and one project traffic jam reducing plan
will be discussed. This plan aims to have 25.000 teleworkers in the triangle
Utrecht den Hague-Amsterdam at least in the morning hours to void traffic
jams.
In the afternoon a video connection will be made to Brussels to follow
"live" the European Telework Award ceremony.
The Future Prize has been started now and all stories can be sent to

The prize will be 5000 Euro for the best matched story in 2008! More

3, The " Dutch Telework Award 1998" and the " Tework Aspect
award 1998 " will take place on
Wednesday, November 4th, 1998 from 17,00 till 19,00 pm at
the Media Plaza in Utrecht.
These awards were created to increase the awareness on Teleworking by
presenting successful Telework projects to companies interested in implementing
new ways of work into their organization.
The European Telework Awards will be held on November 6th,
1998 in Brussels. At the same time, and via a live-link, between the Media
Plaza in Utrech and Brussels, the participants in Utrecht will attend
the cermony in Brussels.
4, Annual 1 day congress at the RAI Congrescentrum in Amsterdam on Thursday
November 5th, 1998 organized by " Nederlands Studie Centrum
" as part of the Dutch Telework Week.
Themes such as Teleworking, Flexworking and/or mobile working, Flexible
working hours in a 24 hours economy and Flexible work by contracting interim
work power will be presented by the different speakers.
