1. Telework Ireland Sixth National Conference

Location: Shannon Oaks Hotel, Portumna, Co Galway

Dates: 12th and 13th November 1998

Times: 12th - Commences 5.30pm Ends approximately 12 midnight - following Traditional Irish Ceilidh (a feast of Irish music and dance)

13th - Official Opening at 9.30am by Mr Noel Treacy T.D., Minister for Science, Technology and Commerce and founder of NACT (National Advisory Council on Teleworking) End 5.00 pm

SPECIAL FEATURES:

- Mr Noel Treacy, T.D. and Minister for Science, Technology and Commerce will officially open and attend the main day of the event in full. Minister Treacy will take questions at Conference closure.

- The announcement of two major surveys which quanitfy the Potential Impact of Telecommuting on Traffic in the Greater Dublin Area (These studies have been commissioned by Telework Ireland and are sponsored by Telecom Eireann and the Dublin Transportation Office)

- Special pre-conference Banquet

- Conference Ceilidh (A uniquely Irish event to celebrate the rich local traditional in Irish music, dance and craic! (Craic = enjoyment!)
