Vertis is an automation company with more or less 250 employees.

The company presented to 200 of them the possibility of teleworking ( in fact home working ). They receive from VERTIS de possibility to obtain an ISDN connection, a PC and a security card which allows them to call the central computer.

Some 160 people took advantage of this offer. Some 50 people ( part included in the 200 ) received a Laptop and a security card giving them the possibility to be connected to the main computer from any place or even by mobile phone.

Currently the main system allows up to 30 simultaneously connections, this can be upgraded to 60 without any new hardware investment.

Everyone who is the owner of a Vertis security card has also access to the Internet and other Vertis network facilities.
