Sponsors

The Importance of European Telework Week is reflect by the status of its core partners in 1998 - Cisco, France Telecom, Siemens, Telecom Italia and Toshiba.

Your company can join these high profile organisations in a number of sponsorship opportunities, these being:

A European Core Partner
You will have the opportunity to work closely with the other partners in Telework Week and shape its nature and evolution. These currently include the European Commission, and the European Telework Development Project (ETD). As a Core Partner you will be closely associated with one of the most successful European-wide awareness activities focusing on promoting the benefits of new work forms in the Information Society.

The partnership is flexible, your financial support as a Core Partner will help maintain all the co-ordination activity, production and distribution of promotional materials, and focused public relations activities across Europe. The financial contribution as a Core Partner is €20 k (Euro).

A European Support Partner

As a supporting sponsor you will have the opportunity to be closely involved in specific areas of Telework Week.

For example, in direct sponsorship of a specific Telework Award, perhaps the provision of infrastructure and technology to webcast European events, or contributing services in support of television promotion. It will also be possible to contribute advertising space in own periodicals. If you think there is something that your organisation can contribute to the success of Telework Week, just contact Martech International.

The financial contribution of a supporting partner is 10k ECU or the equivalent in goods and services.

A National Partner

As a National Partner you would have the benefit of working closely with the national activists organising and promoting telework week in a particular country. The nature of Telework Week varies greatly from country to country, but opportunities do exist to gain visibility with national media by association with Telework Week. You will also gain visibility through the European Co-ordinating activities.

If you are interested in becoming a National Partner in Telework Week, please contact the co-ordinators and you will be put in contact with the appropriate activist in your country.

The financial commitment as a National Partner will vary according to the country programme, but would typically be between 5 k ECU and 300 k ECU

An Event Organiser Or Sponsor

At the heart of Telework Week are the events and activities being held at national, regional and local levels across Europe.

These events may range from large scale conferences, to open days in companies practicing telework, to radio phone-ins or practical demonstrations of telework in schools. In the past we have had traveling road-shows, webcast conferences, and artistic creativity networked across Europe. Such events need hard work and financial support. If you would like to organise an event, or are a potential sponsor for an event, please contact the European co-ordination centre who will help put you in contact with appropriate organisations in your country.

The financial contribution will obviously vary with the type and nature of event.

If you are interested in sponsorship opportunities, email Ian Culpin, ETW co-ordinator, at iculpin@martech-intl.com
